Who is responsible

Jobsu (jobsu.ch) is operated by Aline Aronsky, based in Zurich, Switzerland. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact privacy@jobsu.ch.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and language preference; billing status via our payment provider.
• Profile and documents: the CV, cover letters, and any files you upload, plus the structured profile we derive from them (summary, skills, roles, languages, location, and — if present in your CV — citizenship).
• Voice notes: if you choose to record one during onboarding, the audio is sent for transcription and then discarded; only the transcript is kept.
• Application content: the tailored CVs, cover letters, emails, and insights we generate for you.
• Technical data: information your browser sends (such as IP address) that is needed to serve and secure the site.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use your data to provide the service you signed up for: ranking Swiss job matches for you and drafting tailored application materials. The legal basis is the performance of our contract with you (and your consent for the optional voice note). We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

AI processing and the third parties involved

Jobsu is built on AI. To score your matches and draft your documents, we send the relevant content to the AI providers that power the product. Your data is also handled by our infrastructure, payment, and hosting providers. The full list — who receives what, and where — is shown in the table below. These providers process your data only to deliver the features you use, under data-processing agreements; they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Where your data is stored, and transfers abroad

Your account and files are stored in the EU region. Some processors (for example the AI providers) are located in the United States, so using Jobsu involves transferring some of your data outside Switzerland/the EU. Where that happens, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards such as the providers' standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account (Account → Delete account), your profile, documents, applications, matches, and uploaded files are permanently removed, and any active subscription is cancelled. Billing records may be retained where the law requires us to keep them for accounting purposes.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, and delete your data at any time. Export (Account → Your data → Export) gives you a machine-readable copy; Delete account erases everything. You may also object to processing and, if you believe we have handled your data wrongly, lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, for EU users, your local supervisory authority.

Cookies

We use only the strictly necessary cookies that keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, so there is no cookie-consent banner to click through.

Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, files are stored in a private bucket accessible only to you, and access is scoped per user. No system is perfectly secure, but we design to keep your data private by default.

Changes

If we change this notice or the list of providers, we will update this page and, for material changes, let you know. Continued use after a change means you have seen the update.
